A New Dawn With Bieber

Dedicated to:
(Written to my Insipration Justin Bieber who has always been the best - Justin please sing the song I have written here)
Dawn broke with the mellow chirping of the canaries. The soft humming of humming birds broke through the stillness of the morning air. Roses and lavenders scented the dewy air. Here and there households awoke and started the morning gaily. Young Simon got out of his home clutching a briefcase and walked up to his car. Taking a deep breath of the fresh air, he patted his dog and softly brushed his hand on the blossoming chrysanthemums. Checking the hydrogen cylinder in his car he sat in smiling widely and drove off. Michael could be seen attending to some horses. A sense of natural beauty was dancing in the environment. No smoke or fumes polluted the atmosphere. It was the most beautiful town you would ever want to live in. Almost all facilities of life were available there. Ranging from cars, laptops and latest products to farm life and horses. A perfect blend of city and town life.

This is the story of "Essen". Almost thirty years ago fifteen families decided together to build this town and to set up their lives with all necessities and facilities but yet vowed not to endanger the nature or spoiling its purity and beauty. A well planned town of a population comprising of environment conscious educated families who set up their lives and erected that unique town as a model of purity of nature. It was situated in the heart of Georgia among the green hills. A splashing stream flowed down the hills by the town. (It's crystal clear water was home to many species of fish which town people cared and reared as an addition to their daily supply of protein.)

People had built factories, with filters in their chimneys and all the waste was carefully filtered in laboratories for the town farms. The vehicles used no horns and owners were asked to use hydrogen to run their vehicles .The use of fossil fuels were banned. The carbon emission in the atmosphere was minimal. The garbage dumping system was smartly handled by "Trash-piks". That company distributed green and black garbage bags once a week in the town. People were co-operative and understanding. They put everyday their green garbage bags filled with organic matter only. These were immediately transported by the company to the pig, geese and duck farms. While the black garbage bags which only held recyclable waste were sent to the recycling plant.

All the population enjoyed a healthy life in clean environment. The cohesion of people, especially youths, in keeping up the pollution free population was marvelous.

In the lawn of a big white house Simon's brother Tim was stretching in the soft sun of March enjoying his weekend. He picked up the local paper "Pretty Morning" from the table aside. While he ran his eyes on the headlines his attention was caught by a news report on the above left corner, "Two cat-fish each weighing three-pounds, found dead at the bank of River Shiley, South." The report further said," Mr. Parkinson reported, to Paper's office, of smelling bad chemical odors and finding two cat-fish dead while walking at the river bank before sunset...."

"Tim will you borrow the lawnmower from Sally's next door as ours isn't working properly," Tim's mother called from the kitchen window.
"Alright Mom," Tim replied.
Tim found Sally talking about the same report with her brother Sam, Tim's class-fellow.
"It is not something of little importance Sam. This is worth investigating."
"Hey there Sam and Sally. What is going on? Heard the latest news?"
Sam and Sally turned to see Tim approaching
"We are at the same point." Tim judged from Sam's face what he meant. They discussed together for a while and decided to meet at Snooker's Club and chat with the other guys to see what was the matter.

The club was rowdy and cheerful. Meeting up with a couple of friends they started up on the topic again.
"My uncle lives up close there," said sandy-haired Bob. "It is a town up North about 100 miles away called "Lince". Uncle Billy called me today and told me all about it. It is a new town under construction and a few factories are up and running. These factories have started dumping their factory waste and chemical waste in the Shirley River which leads down South here. I think that is the reason the chemicals are killing the fish and polluting the clean river water."
Sally was aghast,"B...b..but  we have to stop this," she stuttered.
"Yeah! I know!" agreed Tim and Bob.
"But we can't do it alone. Jon Stewart who is the chief's son is somewhere here. We have got to find him. Maybe he can help us," exclaimed Sam.
They walked up to Jon who was surrounded by friends. Discussing the matter with him and stressing the importance of forming a campaign was not easy. But Tim, Sam and Sally were satisfied in the end by the co-operation of Jon and a supportive crowd of more than fifty members. John was the leader. John promised to talk to his father about that too. Sally was much comforted and was more than eager to start.

"How are we going to spread the awareness among the people?" said Tim. "I mean this little town of "Essen" does know but what about the inhabitants of "Lince". They have to know that it is their factories which are causing so much trouble. We have got to spread awareness about this matter."
"Let us prepare a report and publish it in 'Pretty Morning'," suggested Sam.
"Good idea!" agreed Sally.
"No," said Bob, clicking his fingers excitedly," I have a brilliant idea. Let us make a group to invite Justin Bieber to come and perform a concert in "Lince". He should sing a song about nature and how to save it. All the money collected would be given to the factories to fix filters and also be spent in cleansing the now polluted rivers. Isn't  it brilliant?" he screamed.
"Yeah!" shouted Sam, Tim, Sally and all the crowd. There were cheers and applause.

A timid looking girl stepped out from the crowd and said," I'm meeting Justin backstage tomorrow in his concert in Hawaii. I have the ticket. We shall prepare a letter pleading him to perform in "Lince" and sing a song about nature and preserving the universe for our coming generations. Do not forget to explain that the funds raised are going for the cleansing of the polluted rivers and for fixing filters on factory chimneys. I shall forward him this letter."

"Tim!...... Tim! Wake up Tim!......... TIM," whispered Sally urgently. "This is great and fantastic," she urged.
Tim sat up groggily and yawned loudly,"What is the matter Sally? What are you doing here?" he eyed her questioningly.
She was clutching a crumpled paper in her hand and smiling maniacally. "Justin Bieber replied and he agrees," she half shouted, jumping on the balls of her feet. "He'll be coming on March twenty-second."
"WHAT?!?" shouted Tim, springing out of bed. "That is only two days later. We have to set up the stage and deliver notices to people so they can attend."
"That is right," exclaimed Sally. "I have been up since the morning . I have completed doing posters. We just need to hang them all over the town. John can handle setting up a stage. Come on, we have to tell the rest of the people. Sam is already up and he has started sticking posters all over the town," she finished breathlessly.
Tim was already dressed and was hopping in his shoes,"Fine! Let us get going," he shouted, running down the stairs three at a time. Not stopping for breakfast or his father's call, he dashed out with Sally on his heels and ran to John's house over the hill. They explained the matter with him. John agreed to set up the stage if they took care of publicizing the event. Tim and Sally promised to do so and left feeling considerably lighter.

"OK guys we have hung up posters literally everywhere. The stage is up and ready. Justin will be here tomorrow," Sally was clarifying the points to all the members who joined the campaign. Everyone was so happy and eager to see Justin in the concert and to hear the new song he would sing.
Tuesday March twenty-second dawned in the most cheerful and eager mood ever. Crowds were arriving at Moonshine Park, Lince. John was standing there giving out tickets and collecting the money. About an hour later when everyone was seated, the tense countdown began. For ten whole minutes the crowd waited patiently not moving a muscle. Just as the last second ticked a sleek red Range Rover pulled in view. Justin Bieber looking smart in shiny shades and a million-dollar smile walked up to the stage. Deafening cheers and applause filled the air. The clear blue sky looked brighter with the hundreds of balloons now soaring high. Pigeons fluttered gaily as their owners set them free.

Dan Kanter twanged his guitar and started a melodious tune, with the DJ adjusting proper beats. Waving to the crazy cheering crowd Justin arose to greet thousands of excited fans. Soft silence throbbing with expectations swept the crowd as Justin rocking his head to the music began singing the eagerly awaited, "High Up Above".

Soaring high, Up above
This bright shining Earth
I look around
Come fly in the wind so pure
So fresh so sweet; just take a whiff

This day this smell
Ever to remain in my heart
Changing slowly
Oh this new odor that is filling up the air
It's acrid, It's strange

Oh how it pierces my heart
I cant' breathe
I'm chocking can't you see

(CHORUS)
Soaring high, Up above
This bright shining Earth
I look around
Come fly in the wind so pure
So fresh so sweet

And what about the rivers
The streams, the lakes, the seas
Ever blue in peace
Once flowed clean
The fish and life in its depth
So mighty so calm

Now death stalks by
Silently approaching
Slowly slithering,
Slick and toxins drain lives
Evil and vile

(CHORUS)
Soaring high, Up above
This bright shining Earth
I look around
Come fly in the wind so pure
So fresh so sweet

Spreading odors and toxins
We forget this planet Earth
We forget its blessings upon us
We owe our lives to it
Preserve this grand world now

Take care of it
Nurture it yea ha!
Take heed, stop evil
Look ahead and for others care about this Earth
Save it now, save it forever yeah!

(CHORUS)
Soaring high, Up above
This bright shining Earth
I look around
Come fly in the wind so pure
So fresh so sweet

Hearty applause and cheers blasted in the music's blare. Whistles and thunderous claps could be heard above the blaring music. A cheerful Justin waving to the crazy crowd and blowing a kiss descended from the stage. Visible among the cheering crowd were Lince's factories owners' ashamed faces. Their expressions on their faces showed regret and shame. They themselves could be seen thanking Justin fro opening their eyes to a danger they had overlooked. The money collected from this concert alone was enough for all the factories to place filters and for the river Shiley to be cleaned. Whatever remained was given to charity. And so Justin Bieber inspired millions to save and care for Mother Nature.
